Pros

Nice facility. Have in house gym with free weights and machine. Also have Starbucks machines. Also decent 401k match, health insurance including eye and dental care.

Cons

Managed full time office employees like an assembly line worker. Value quantity over quality. Too much office politics for a small company.

Pros

If you're lucky enough to be in a well-run department, you can find a mix of challenging work and camaraderie. Compensation and benefits are generally on par with the market, if not better-than-average.

Cons

Upper management has a tendency to focus on themselves and overlook lower level contributors.

Pros

There are some really dedicated workers, but because management is terribly focused on themselves, people are allowed to dither and wither. Their own internal studies on morale proved this time and again. They do try hard to make you feel like you are part of a family but the minute you fall out of favor, with anyone, watch out!

Cons

Don't come up with brilliant idea(s) and tell your bosses. You may not get the credit it. And if you do somehow manage to carry/do something great all the way, don't expect it to protect you. Especially if you are on the senior side and haven't become drinking buddies with upper-level management. Today's work friends, can easily become tomorrow's two-faced work friends. And if you get that feeling higher-ups are playing favorites in your department, and you are not one of them, look for work elsewhere ASAP. This company loves to fire people randomly with the thinnest of reasons. Most common is in reference to the wither and dither comment in the above, as you are then labeled as "incompetent" and try as you might, you can't shake that reputation until you are forced out or quit of your own accord. (They prefer the latter.)
