I was working on a project remotely 50%, when my internal manager let me go after 30 years of employment with 8 weeks severance. My manager asked me to do more sales support so i reduced my hours with my client. After 6 months of working 50%. My manager let me and 4 others in our group with over 30 years each go. They cant sell any new services. If you are a client or prospective client, they dont care for their people!

Ever since HPE Sold the services arm to DXC, there have been continuous lay-offs. The program is called WFR - Workforce Reduction. We have started calling it Weekly Friday Reductions. The only reason I stay is that I work from home. If not, I would have left. Management is making it harder to get daily tasks done. Approvals for pretty much everything (ordering supplies) to to senior management who reject almost everything.
