Working for the Juvenile department gives you access to a great retirement and insurance system. You also have the freedom to leave your office to complete the various obligations of your job at your own discretion.

Cons

Constant policy changes and an ever increasing burden of responsibility is shifted upon probation Officers whom already have to deal with uncooperative children and families.
