Pros

The county has really good insurance benefits, holidays off and PTO. There are always opportunities to move up since there are always vacancies.

Cons

Poor management, poor pay, overworked, extremely high turnover rate and toxic environment. The employees in certain departments are far from professional. Subordinates are more qualified than management. Will go several YEARS without a pay increase.

Pros

Good retirement package (7%), some good people and that's about it...

Cons

Retirement package, benefits, people, facilities, culture, management, human resources. Work is easy, but you won't learn much. There is no room for new ideas.
