Pros

Great PTO, Generous salary, inspired mission statement

Cons

Lacking employee support from HR partner. HR did not provide training for new roll. HR used the merger to fire older employees to hire under 35 yrs old. Very cutthroat and political in open office. Too many cliques. Bullying by manager and HR.

Get paid well, that’s it.

Pros

Paid above market + quarterly bonus that can exceed the cap.

Cons

Either you’re on the bandwagon (or not). Don’t dare ask questions that challenge senior management, or prepared to be looked over in the future. Highly political atmosphere - again, don’t ask Q’s on why things are being done certain ways. Budget cuts since Q3 for remainder of year. Hard to get job done when you can’t travel for work.

Pros

Benefits are pretty much it but they are very good if you can tolerate a toxic work environment and a dead end job.

Cons

The Minster plant is somewhat of a mess in general but the lab is the worst. Management of the lab is absolutely abysmal and HR isn't doing anything about it despite numerous reports and the fact the lab always scores badly on surveys. Several full time employees have quit this year (2018). No opportunities to move up unless you know someone or are from the area. Favoritism runs rampant and shift wars and rivalries between employees are stoked by management. Very little to no science involved in the job. They will say there are a lot of opportunities to move up in your interview but it's bull. The schedule is terrible for having a life outside of work (8 and 7 day stretches with two days off in between every three or four weeks- and no overtime for this due to the way the pay period is set up) and there is a perpetual short staffing problem due to management that makes it worse. Do not waste your time here, you didn't go to college to work like this.
