      Pros

      A lot of good people do work at Darden. It is one of the only major companies in the city of Orlando that has penetration across the US.

      Cons

      The leadership at Darden is very self focused and the culture is highly political. Advancement is not based on merit or meeting one objectives (business or personal).

      Decent compensation if you work hard Comradery amongst employees Flexible work schedule (lunch, dinner or both!) As many breadsticks as your piehole can handle

      Incompetent management Coorporate structure is severely lacking Only emphasis is on bottom line- could careless about customers (guests) Little recognition of hard-work

      Flexible hours, competitive wages, good coworkers

      The major downside is that clientele varies so much based on location that it’s hard to predict how much you will make, but that’s true about the industry no matter where you go.
