      Pros

      Offer good benefit options. Somewhat flexible schedule.

      Cons

      I would describe working for Darden as very 'corporate.' There was little flexibility for individual restaurants to make decisions for their local staff and store. A lot of weight was put on customer reviews and only ratings of 5-stars were counted toward store scores--meaning a lot of pressure from managers on staff.

      Darden only cares about their bottom line

      They have benefits such as health, dental, eye, life, disability insurances, they run a "darden dimes" program to help employees in times of emergencies, they have discounts from places such as Dell, Verizon, Jackson Hewitt, ect

      Cons

      You are nothing to them. They do not care if you make money working there or not as long as their bottom line is good then they dont care about you at all
