      Good for a part time job, but won't pay all the bills.

      Pros

      They offer great benefits. They have very flexible work scheduels so its great for someone who is in college or has multiple jobs. Did I mention the benefits from day one?

      Cons

      You are working for a major industry leader so you have to deal with the corporate yay yay. You sometimes feel as if your hardwork gets "lost in the crowd"?

      Pros

      Health benefits is good but work environment and incentive is low. Good money at times especially around the holidays and winter.

      Cons

      Unfair treatment of the employees. File many complaints to corporate and regional director but no respond to the main issue of unfair treatment.

      Pros

      This was just a part-time job to make some extra money - however, I grew to like the job because of the way the place was run and the friendliness of the employees. Compared to other restaurants, Longhorn went the extra mile w/ health insurance, constant training, flexibility with schedules and ability to try meals for free so you know what you are selling. The managers stood up for you when dealing with a bad customer.

      Cons

      It is not an easy job running around on your feet for 6+ hours at a time. Unfortunately no breaks when working a doubleshit and hard to get time to eat so spend a lot of your shift starving. Plus always having to deal with bad customers and bad tips - so salaries can be all over the place. The sidework can be a bit much - adding on a couple of extra hours to any shift.
