401k has decent company participation

Cons

Outside group hired to poll the employees of changes needed gave their results. Corporate ignored, altered, and misinterpreted what was sound good suggestions. Too much favoritism, certain few are protected and therefore produce little. Corporate folks complain but need to see how it is in production, lots of hours, nights, and demands with no compensation, not even turkey dinner

Pros

$25.00per hour with good benefits because of the Teamsters. (During the lock-out they paid 17.00 per hour.) Excellent retirement also because of the union. After 31 years there, I will get 17.00 per hour for life.

Cons

Lousy hours-forget a social life at least for the first 5 years. Work almost all holidays and a ton off days off each year because there is always something breaking down. Very stressful production line work with high expectations to make more faster.
