Horrible Management

Your other production co workers are great people

Cons

Management is horrible. They’re always making excuses on why they can break the union contract. Management is petty. None of the people in management are qualified to do the job they’re assigned. They’re being ran by a temporary manager who was suppose to be there for a year, but had to be resigned because he wasn’t capable of of getting the job done that he was paid for the first year. That’s why you have a plant manager who doesn’t care because he’s only there temporarily. Management comes to work and focuses on getting people in trouble or written up more than they do on the production of the plant. That’s why machines are barely running and we have lots of product that can’t make it out the door.

- You get paid. - Flexible work arrangement. - Coworkers are nice folks overall.

Cons

- Company is bleeding money every month. - There is a flagrant lack of processes, structure and governance which prevents any business growth. Unclear responsibilities, frequent firefighting and constant changes will be your daily reality. - Reducing benefits like 401K match or bonuses to save money. (HR will tell it was an adjustment to the market) - Constant layoffs and elimination of positions. There is no job security at Darigold.
