      Decent way to get your foot in the door of security industry

      Cons

      Zero benefits and compensation is on the low end compared to similar sales engineer positions. Vast majority of technical team in the US is “lead” by middle managers with zero management skills. Retention has dropped significantly as the technical team realizes that upward mobility is extremely limited and very small posibility to have an “actual” career here. The fact performance reviews do not exist is a clear testament to this. Darktrace does not seem to be interested in retaining their technical staff and this will only lead to more problems in the future. Effectiveness of the product is also questionable.

      Pros

      Coworkers, excellent solutions, occasional happy hour, travel, the life of expenses, the espresso, great team dynamic, advise and direction from leads/managers.

      Cons

      The U.K. (Management, no clue who is pulling the strings), lack of growth, employees are under-valued, blatant disregard for personal growth, hectic environment, employees are seen as disposable, strict with bonus or raise, and finally shady business behind closed doors.

      Office Great product Lunch on Friday’s Coffee Nice office The interview process is very fast, but the company is not selective enough.

      Cons

      Everything. Management, turnover is high, pay is too low, commission is NOT ATTAINABLE seriously you won’t make $85,000 they’re bullshitting you. Refuse to use Salesforce and use our own in house CRM that is terrible.
