Business Outlook
Pros
Acceptable Pay, Flexible requirements, lots of freedom to change and expand your role. Dart understands that everyone wants to go home and at least in IT makes no pretense that we don't work for pay. Company is reasonably practical and doesn't tend to do a lot of pointless formality.
Cons
Slow development, driven by boomer engineers in an industry that doesn't have a bright future. You will continuously watch the company do things like lay off or fail to retain excellent people to save costs and then turn around and have contractors do a poor job of what the person who left accomplished. Silos, Towers of Knowledge, Brain Drain. All Day, Every Day.
