Pros

Nice office with some decent perks and benefits.

Cons

High turn and lack of community. As a sales rep it's difficult to perform your role here with such an engineer-centric environment. The product is good and should continue to perform in the market. But, don't even bother asking for help during sales cycles. Unfortunately, the communication between the sales and tech folks is significantly lacking, which is extremely necessary, and will cost you several opportunities and reduce your ability to perform well.

Pros

top of the line quality swag, beautiful facilities, centrally located, ulimited PTO, family planning, and more amazing benefits

Cons

Culture was a little weird, some employees seemed to be afraid of their superiors. The facilities guy routinely humiliated his team (this made me uncomfortable). People got VERY drunk at company events.

Pros

Datadog has arguably the best platform in the market, which ultimately makes selling a lot easier. It takes quite some time to fully understand the product and how to sell it, especially if you don't have experience in the observability/cloud space. However, if you are willing to in the work, you will learn A LOT of things that can be applied to in the tech industry. I think the onboarding training is also really good, and during that first week you will be drinking water from a fire hose for sure. While it seems overwhelming, everything will make sense later on. You will be learning something new in this role for sure. The co-workers are also great, with some becoming actual friends, benefits are also good. And some work events are very fun.

Cons

For sales specifically, for the US Territory, expectations can sometimes be very unrealistic. There also seems to be a short amount of time/toleration for reps in many teams. Not every team is like that, but I would say that there a few "bad apple" managers stain the reputation of the company.
