-Product is best in the world for this industry, it works and does exactly what it promises to do -People are amazing at this company, we hire great talent -Work life balance is phenomenal

Cons

-The hard pivots from year to year (new internal tools, new GTM strategy, new org structures) can be exhausting. Dataminr just can't seem to stick to any one strategy or vision for longer than 12-18 months.

Pros

I'm two months into my new role and so far very impressed with Dataminr's leadership, the resources I've been given to be successful, and the winning qualities of the team around me. Compensation and benefits are also solid. I'm very happy I made the decision to join the company.

Cons

It can be surprising how little structure and process is in place -- it feels more like an early-stage startup than a 15-year-old company. The counterpoint to this is there's full awareness among leadership of these needs, huge opportunities to help build this structure, and the company is hiring smart, talented people at a fast pace to fill in the gaps.

Pros

Dataminr is a really great place to work. The healthcare benefits are unmatched. The ability to work remotely is highly valuable. I feel like the leaders are competent and transparent. They put a lot of focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The company is on an exciting trajectory.

Cons

Did a few big layoffs in the last coupe of years, hoping that is not something that happens again.
