Phenomenal 8% match for 401k, higher base salary than industry standard (lower com. %) David Weekely himself seems great, too bad his values are not being carried out.

Cons

Heavy emphasis on team, when team means being part of the GOB in your area and not speaking out against very inappropriate behavior. Your trainer may very well be someone who is assigned as your mentor that is a competing coworker. Hopefully they won't set you up to fail and leave out key elements of the position. Sales is disposable and you must be willing to be talked down to by builders or project coordinator if they do not like you or are in a bad mood. They are the employees that are valued. If you blow the whistle on unethical behavior of a tenured employee, you will pay the price severely in backlash. Politics are more important than anything, even more than your success with sales and customer satisfaction. You will have to fill out surveys via email that everyone knows are not confidential and say everything is great.

Pros

Great training at the corporate office (HST). Awesome health benefits. Generous bonus and commissions.

Cons

Too many tenured, lazy employees that bend the rules, come in late, leave early, act like bullies. Low salary. Lack of management and discipline at the division level. Preach change, but don't embrace it. Lack of discipline - basically a free for all as long as you get sales.

Pros

You will always stay busy The pay is good when you aren't penalized for things that aren't under your control I was able to have some great coworkers

Cons

There are days you come to work in the dark and leave in the dark. Difficult to accomplish everything that is wanted from you.
