From the interview process onward to training and working for them for a year, my experience has been exceptional. Davis Development lives up to their high standards of representing themselves with professionalism, warmth, and the training intention of growing YOU as a professional. Truly an incredible company with lots of career opportunities for moving up and a team that supports you.

Cons

No cons on how they represent themselves or the job itself, only personal cons such as you will be traveling between properties (but I see that as a pro because you get to learn so much and be in new areas!)

Davis Development is a fantastic company to work for! The compensation is competitive, and I truly feel valued as an employee. It’s clear that they care about their team members, and the company fosters a family-like environment. It’s great to work somewhere that feels supportive and rewarding!

Cons

One downside is that the PTO policy could be improved. It would be better if sick days were separate from vacation time, rather than using vacation days for illness. A little more flexibility in this area would make a big difference.

We truly value the employees on the front line, making things happen and getting the leases in the door so these potential residents can find a great new home. The teams at our communities love what they do and it shows to everyone that walks in the door. We changed our PTO program to all one bucket many years ago, so that an employee has the flexibility to use the paid time off awarded for whatever is needed, illness, personal time, vacation etc. Again, thank you again for this wonderful post and suggestions.
