Cons

Insurance could be better and offer separate hours for sick days

We understand that insurance can be a big topic, and while it’s costly, we’re proud that our leadership covers 80% of employee premiums. Regarding PTO, we combined it into one flexible bucket a few years ago so that you can decide how to use your time off in a way that works best for you. Those values you mentioned, like empathy and ethics, are super important to us. I see you mentioned healthcare and the 401(k) as cons, so I wanted to offer a bit of insight. We do cover 80% of employee premiums, and I know healthcare costs can still feel high, but we try to make it as affordable as possible. For the 401(k), we offer a 4% match, dollar-for-dollar, with just a one-year vesting period, which is actually one of the better plans out there. That said, we’re always open to suggestions. If you have ideas on how we can improve, we’re all ears! Thanks again for your thoughts and for being part of the Davis Family.

Pros

Mostly fun and relaxed environment. Top pay for the industry and management is supportive. Its very much a team effort and if you have good coworkers the job itself is a breeze

Cons

This is largely a lease up position so expect to bounce around to different properties. Dealing with residents can be difficult
