Pros

Depending on your manager, I think you could achieve a work-life balance. There is some opportunity for growth.

Cons

It could be difficult to coordinate work inter-departmentally. Some people would refuse to work with me because of their negative view of my manager.

Pros

Benefits are somewhat comparable to other counties, location is great. Flexibility in case of an emergency for self or a family member.

Cons

There isn't much emphasis placed on training for staff whether junior or senior level. Positions are generally stagnant. There is no upward mobility for employees who want to excel and if the employee excels, no recognition is given. This may not be the case in every department but more so than less!

Pros

40 hours a week garenteed, rain or shine. Equipment is in pretty good condition for the most part. Hard to get fired.

Cons

Management does not have a good control over what is going on and is very biased. No performance raises takes the quality out of work.
