Disappointing, it's all about who you know

Pros

40 hours a week garenteed, rain or shine. Equipment is in pretty good condition for the most part. Hard to get fired.

Cons

Management does not have a good control over what is going on and is very biased. No performance raises takes the quality out of work.

Pros

I loved working with and helping the constituents.

Pros

I supervise a great team who keep me on my toes. The most interesting part of my day are the clients.

Cons

The pay is awful and the opportunities for advancement are too political. This results in someone being put in a position who have no experience what so ever. It's definitely all about who you know.
