Pros

Co-workers, benefits, work life balance were great. The only reason I'm still typing is to meet the 20 word minimum requirement.

Cons

This company, and most in the industry for that matter, have no idea how to manage a sales team without incentives. It's not their fault, but due to federal regulations, and societal trends, enrollments have been declining significantly. The entire industry is struggling, just google "for profit higher education" in the news, you'll see what's been happening. It just isn't the place that will offer much growth anytime in the near future.

Pros

It started out great and going down just after few months. The work to do is fine, not heavy load. Free 'leftover' lunch (after all the employees had their share). I had no other option than to work here, so I am grateful that they hired me.

Cons

You can tell there are insincere people working here. They sounded like they care but they just hearing what you are saying without no intention to give a damn. Being appreciated with only one employee feels nice. I hope more senior mgmt would do that to student workers and tutors. I don't feel appreciated enough. Employees come and go. They let some people go for downsizing and call one of them back when someone resigned. Employees does not like to involve much with their students. I had so many occasion that students are not able to reach their advisors. Had so many dramas after six months I was hired. Backstabbing employees. Sudden lay-offs. Minimum wage pay. I got tired working here. Good thing I only need to be here for another two months then I will feel free.
