Pros

Education benefits are ok. Almost free tuition to continue your education their programs. Quality of education is good for those students that can handle it.

Cons

Micromanagers who have no idea what they are doing. Constantly tell employees to do things against compliance just to recruit 1 new student. Say they want everyone to get promoted and grow with the company but will make up excuses and intentionally give you bad performance reviews so that you don't get promoted or get a decent raise. Never recognize employees for a job well done. Always focus on the negative, unless we make goal and then it's a win for the whole school. School has cut so many employees that the quality of service we boast about having just doesn't exist in all departments. Tell you that they care about your work life balance but then insist you work overtime without reporting it so they don't have to pay it. If you want to be in higher education, do it through a state institution.

Pay is very competitive. Benefits are good. There are no other pros to speak of.

Cons

Poor management, lack of integrity, poor ethics, subpar academic standards, not enough support services for students in need.

Pros

Good benefits for FT employees. The education provided is great. Being a part of some of the student achievement stories really drives you to keep doing what you do.

Cons

It's not very easy to grow. There can be a little politics in promotions. There's not a lot of development. Usually there is an overwhelming amount of work.
