      Pros

      Working for DeVry was a good experience. There was a lot of support, good energy, and opportunity for advancement. They also offer discounted tuition to their employees which was nice for those trying to extend their educational attainment

      Cons

      There was always a challenge with growth and expansion. Being a for profit University meant that they had to try and keep shareholders and students happy. That was a tall task and often the brunt of that was felt by the employees.

      Pros

      If you can look pass the repetitive work and poor leadership culture you are doing good work with helping people earn their college degrees.

      Cons

      The Student Facing roles have a fundamentally poor leadership structure. They will preach on a culture of care but at the group director they are mostly temperamental people. This is good while you are in their favor, but once you fall out of favor it leads to bullying, and gaslighting tactics. HR is not helpful as they will take months to investigate during which they are giving the directors time to change language and find a reason to fire you.
