      Great enviroment to work in. Co-workers were great.

      Cons

      No autonomy. Felt like you cannot move up within the company although they preach that. Talk about hiring from within and that is not true.

      Cons

      I was mis-lead - when I met with the admin staff about signing up. They or she told me whatever was needed, so I would sign the forms. All Devry is interested in is your Student Loans. I also can't get a job, because employers don't like Devry listed as an education, so I removed it from my resume. They could care less about your education, all they are interested in is your student loans - now I owe 50K with out a degree. Go find a not for profit College.

      Management is AWOL from the corporate office to the local schools so the inmates(local managers) run the asylum.

      Starting pay is decent for the market.

      Where do you begin? Poor working environment Micromanagement Educational facilities and equipment outdated and needs replaced Arcane policies Lip service to education but the truth is just put a but in the seat so we get paid No advancement opportunities Your input is not desired or needed because we will do it our way even if it is wrong It seems everyone is looking for another job during the entire time while employed at DeVry.
