      My experience with DeVry has been both positive and rewarding

      Pros

      DeVry has a lot of friendly people to work with in a very nice looking and open environment. They also pay really well and have some pretty good benefits such as free schooling for full-time employees. They are also very open to hiring talented individuals into other departments if the individual is interested.

      Cons

      A downside is that some employees have to work 50+ hours a week or have to be on call for issues that occur and those things affect the home life of the employee.

      Pros

      Employees feel valued. Effective communication between the deans and professors. Open door policy therefore deans are very accessible to both students and staff. Always get feedback timely.

      Cons

      Payroll dates previously very confusing but this has since been resolved and the structure in place is more appealing to adjunct faculty.

      Pros

      It provides its employees good pay, good advancement opportunities and above all it cares about it's employees.

      Cons

      The starting pay is great, but getting a respectable raise is difficult. You're expected to meet certain performance goals that are at best hard to attain great scores in.
