Pros

Free from micro management, broad education opportunities, competitive benefits, strong collaboration, rewarding duties, clear chain of command, numerous professional development opportunities, and flexible schedules.

Cons

Redundant management structure, few promotion opportunities, strict quotas, many road miles, viewed as replaceable, slow to take on technology, marginally inspiring work

Pros

Solid Company, Great programs to offer students, Awesome people to work with, very professional setting

Cons

The new way of evaluating one's performance is horrific. Every phone call is recorded and you have to listen to it as they "rate" your ability to basically psychoanalyze a prospective student. If you work for the High School admissions department you have to work until 8 every night, off every Friday, and work EVERY Saturday until 4pm. That equals NO work/life balance. The assistant directors are afraid to stand up for their employees. It's an egotistical game between managers and upper management.

Pros

Good benefits-Medical, Dental, Vision, profit sharing, matching 401K, and flex work. Laid back, yet professional management, flexibility with time off, almost no micromanaging.

Cons

Very difficult to transfer within to a different department. They force you to constantly update your career goals, so that they can move people where they are best suited. This gets you no where. I don't even think they look at them. Tuition "benefit" is very decieving. Basically, you are only eligible to take two Keller courses a year for free ($80 per course for lab fees). After that, the full tuition is considered as income, and you are taxed on that full amount, and taxed very high. If you take 2 classes a semester for a year, you are being taxed on $13,200. They also automatically deduct this from your paychecks, with days notice, in VERY LARGE deductions.
