      Pros

      inquiries are provided to you, so you're not cold calling. unfortunately these inquiries are people who were usually tricked into requesting info on the school, so they are not interested.

      Cons

      boring and repetitive. you do the same exact thing hour after hour, day after day. gets old after several months.

      It started with the thoughts of longevity and growth and is ending with poor communication and a blind eye.

      Pros

      It was a great job in the beginning. I had started advancement and was loyal beyond belief. I willingly put in hours upon hours. I was willing to defend strange management decisions and my Directors strange behaviors and weaknesses.

      Cons

      I and my colleagues were blindsided by a sudden change in policy and direction. One week the focus was student based and relationships the next it was pure numbers driven. The effort put in and the relationships built don't matter. It has become a “What have you done for me lately" place to work. They talk about ethics and professionalism but treat their own with very little of both. I am now moving on and have encouraged all around me to do the same.

      Pros

      DeVry has a very nice corporate environment. Everyone is very friendly and willing to share their knowledge with you in order for you to succeed. Big perk to working there is free tuition.

      Cons

      I think overall the benefits could be a little better for a publicly traded company. However, they are slightly better that the average company.
