      Industry going downhill.....

      Pros

      If they keep you around, you have great vacation accrual.

      Cons

      They seem to get rid of tenured staff so they dont have to pay higher salaries and increased benefits. Admissions is a good job for someone right out of college that wants to learn sales. No opportunity for advancement at all. Industry failing.

      Pros

      they pay fro an admissions rep can be ok IF your able to make to the executive level, which is extremely hard to do. You can expect to make about 52k then. The work is very easy and you can get a free degree.

      Cons

      There is an immense amount of pressure to sale degree programs to individuals who mostly only have a GED, and virtually no interest in getting a degree in anything Devry offers. Its a revolving door also. Employees are ALWAYS quitting or getting a brown box on their desk, and this is from management on down. Theres no loyalty or appreciation for employees. I was told by a Director in admissions to use Devry cause they are gonna use you, then spit you out! They were right!
