      Stressful job environment- temperamental directors

      Pros

      If you can look pass the repetitive work and poor leadership culture you are doing good work with helping people earn their college degrees.

      Cons

      The Student Facing roles have a fundamentally poor leadership structure. They will preach on a culture of care but at the group director they are mostly temperamental people. This is good while you are in their favor, but once you fall out of favor it leads to bullying, and gaslighting tactics. HR is not helpful as they will take months to investigate during which they are giving the directors time to change language and find a reason to fire you.

      Pros

      It was my first full time job out of school. They hire with minimal work experience so I would say it's an easy entry level position to dip your toes in

      Cons

      Don't expect to take a break. You will have incoming and outgoing calls all day and expect quantity over quality. Don't go in trying to give students the full support they need. You will be burnt out on day one. I spent my Sundays dreading the following week.
