Pros

Devry tries to promote a healthy work environment. Devry provides the necessary tools for general skills needed for any position. Specifically, team building, communication, and growth. I enjoyed working with most coworkers.

Cons

- lots of pressure to perform well and be at your desk all the time. I had notify a manager if I was away from my desk for more than ten minutes. - Job title is misleading. I worked as an "admissions representative", but I was recruiting students by the minute. -Position is mainly based on recruitment. - Micromanagement was normalized. -minimal work life balance and flexibility. - long hours with low salary.

Pros

Strong student-centric focus. Plenty of opportunity for self-improvement and internal advancement. Community that looks for solutions rather than ways to assign blame.

Cons

Lack of flexibility in some roles. Hard to balance work/life, even though they emphasize doing so. Well-meaning but sometimes misses the mark.
