**Remote Work experience** - Fair compensation - People seem nice - Tons of resources to help you at your job ( when they work)

Cons

Although my experience comes from a remote work perspective, I immediately saw the lack of diversity within the zoom meetings, from my team specifically. I was the only BIPOC on my team, or minority for that matter--with the exception of two folks who were participants from another team. Due to the world shaking events that occurred, I immediately felt uncomfortable as there was no one "Like me" to discuss things with. I could only imagine how uncomfortable I would've felt in the office. No one discriminated against me, but there were moments of racial insensitivity that bothered me during my employment. There is also a lack of initiative taken by middle management to assist struggling employee's. This may be by design tho, as upper management has put a lot on their plate. Also- -Equipment often didn't work -No standardized materials for training

-Deltek actively supports employee learning/training (and even provides access to LinkedIn Learning) via promoting 50 hours of ongoing learning each year. -The company offers plenty of opportunities internally to change positions or move up on merit. A consistent practice of acquiring other companies allows employees to stay challenged, broadens their work experience, and offers opportunities to try new things to help with merging. -On top of that, they offer competitive pay as well as good benefits. -There's a strong culture of work-life balance with plenty of PTO and company holidays. -Leadership has been very supportive throughout the pandemic with bi-weekly updates on policy changes and office closures and openings. Their WFH policy has also been very accommodating.
