Cons
There’s zero communication and most of the time you’ll have no idea who to go to for the info you need. It’s not uncommon to have 10 different engineers from 3 different offices on a project. The mechanical engineer will not know or care who the electrical engineer is or even what office they’re in. The drawings will be half empty and poorly thought out since the engineers will never be onsite. Good luck ever getting ahold of your PM. The company is just a revolving door. They hire young engineers, pay them pennies, and then burn them out within a year. Then the site folks are left to try and piece it together. If you can handle the office politics, blatant favoritism, poor pay, and long hours you can scrape up some knowledge and experience. Far easier ways to go about it though.
