Pros

The employees are young and fresh out of college, VERY casual dress code, often have contests, office is decorated for the holidays, potlucks and "potluck contests" are common. Health benefits for Kaiser are fully paid for if you are in good health.

Cons

The first word that comes to mind, is nepotism -- family members are constantly hired and NEVER fired, even if inadequate. The majority of managers are friends or relatives of the owners-- they are hired w/o any proper credentials or degrees, for example, the "creative director/design manager" has no degree and takes painting classes at a junior college. This is a work environment that simply breeds negativity. Most workplaces, you will get positive kudos from colleagues when deserved. Managers and employees are constantly at each others throats. Morale is very low and employees complain about working here constantly. Not surprisingly, there is extremely high turnover, with an average of one person leaving the company per month. HR: plays favorites and will not discipline individuals who are in a favored group. HR should be impartial and fair. Her door is also paper thin so disciplinary actions can be heard outside her office. Compensation and Benefits: Not competitive whatsoever, do not expect a raise or bonuses -- even during the holidays. No matching 401K, either. 5 days vacation/year, simple health/dental and sick days (do not carry over) nothing else. Overtime: is NEVER paid, even though the sales team was urged to stay longer than 8 hours and work weekends. There is no room for advancement. This is not a place to retire or to grow your career. Company claims they are "growing" but they just installed 80 cubicles in a space meant for just 40 people. Company is hiring more people but downsizing in terms of personal space.

Pros

good technical support, small enough where everyone knows each other. they used to have employee of the month but stopped that. used to have potlucks but stopped that too. time of early before holiday weekends is nice.

Cons

the company has lots of clicks and ppl that just do what they want when they want to. lots of nepotism as reviewer below said. the ppl who work here ar rude, and have job security because they know somebody like the owner. its persian owned. ppl come and go as they want to. one person ends up quitting a month usually bc they dont like management and other employees. employee morale is very low

Pros

Working for EDI Health Group has been a great experience. The Health Industry is a good place to be - the industry is pretty booming. There are a wide variety of challenges and opportunities with the company, I have been promoted twice and really enjoy the working environment. The customer base is friendly, because we mostly deal with office staff for dental offices across the nation. We have full health care benefits, 401K, paid sick time, you can accumulate up to 3 weeks of vacation time. People are very knowledgeable and fun to work with.

Cons

The stairs to get to our office!
