Amazing opportunity for those with energy and enthusiasm along with a desire to learn and grow.
Pros
The financial and advancement opportunites are incredible! I started with this company having never earned more than $35,000 per year and in my first year, I made nearly $50,000. They provide you with great training and all the opportunity you can handle. I have been with this company over 10 years and now have a consistent 6 figure income. They are continually looking at new products, sales approaches, and new training as ways to increase your customer base and income. The company is very dedicated to customer service and expects your best efforts on taking care of all customers. I see some of these reviews talking about long hours and having to move to advance and all I can say is NOT TRUE! Our average employee works 45 hours per week, with some weeks being barely 40 and some being 50, but how many $50,000 per year jobs do you know about that don't work at least 45 hours? Yes, your days off are during the week, but this is a retail job and most of America shops on the weekends. The company also recently started offering the chance for managers to have some weekend off benefits that don't require vacations. In terms of moving for advancement, the best available candidate gets the position, regardless of where you live. This at times causes some people in one market to be passed over for a better candidate from another store. But if you can work hard and learn your craft, you can be the best candidate no matter where the opportunity opens up at. This is a sales and service organization, so yes they expect your best performance, but I have never seen an unreasonable request from them in terms of sales standards.
Cons
For some, I can understand the weekends off being an issue, but if you are worried about missing a child's event, no worries as they will do their best accomodate for to be able to go to the event and return to work later. The only con I have ever experienced is working with some that seem to want a managment position handed to them rather than learning more about sales and service and focusing on how they can be better, rather than complaining about not being chosen for a promotion. For the right candidate with a learning mind set, this is an incredible opportunity with no cons!
