Pros

The opportunity first and foremost. I was given a chance even though I had almost zero experience in the customer service, management, and sales world. It has enabled me to support my family, and have a comfortable life. Very quickly you can rise from a trainee to manager. Paid training and company retreats.

Cons

Outside of (paid) vacations, I have never had a weekend off. It sometimes feels like long hours, but I average only about 45 hours/week as a manager.

Pros

I enjoyed my co-workers. They were very pleasant, fun, and outgoing. You get paid to travel and get promoted.

Cons

Your interview will be ridiculously long. Mine was 3 1/2 hours. Then upon being hired you will sit around all day for 10+ hours, waiting, hoping a customer comes in. Then when a customer comes in it might not be your up, or you may even be interacting with a secret shopper. Secret shoppers waste your time, unless you get 100% on everything....then they will pay you a gift card of $200 in about a month, which is nice ( if you get 100 on both parts). Then, on your days off you have to shop other mattress stores, otherwise you are not allowed to sell until you do (even though your managers don't do them). If you don't make sales in your week you get paid minimum wage. I say it is worth it if you are in a busy location, otherwise don't waste your time. You don't get to choose where you go, my manager promised I would be going to my home town, when the offer arrived it was far from where I wanted to be. If you don't take the offer they will not consider you for a management position.

Pros

If you don't mind moving out of the city or state that you are currently living in then this is the job for you. The company only promotes from within which is great. You have the opportunity to move up as soon as 6months being in the company, or sooner. Weekly and monthly bonuses are nice. Training pay is good and their product is actually very good as well. I own a Denver Mattress mattress set myself and I definitely have to say that it was the best decision I made!

Cons

Pay is 100% commission. The managers are all on commission as well, so watch out for them stealing your sales because they will! They feel defeated when they are not leading in sales. You will usually work 10-12 hour shifts with two days off per week and don't expect any weekends off. Oh and if you don't mention any planned vacations or trips during your interview don't expect it to be ok if you request off 2weeks in advance like most jobs. You are not allowed to request any days off AT ALL smh until you have been with the company for ONE YEAR. Which at that time you only get one week of paid vacation time that has to be taken all at one point, not a few days here and there.
