Pros

Great discounts and training development. Ideal for someone who likes to hear the pros and cons regarding their performance. Nice office.

Cons

Not for the faint hearted. High unreal expectations. Like a cult following, they like to refer to themselves as a 'tribe'. Continual micromanaging and performance critiquing. When starting out all training sessions are video recorded then assessed.

Pros

£50 monthly product allocation, managing my own diary as a business development consultant. Some lovely staff members.

Cons

There is absolutely no progression in this role. Lower management tend to be micromanaging jobsworths. The education side of the company needs completely over hauling to move with the times to offer eiether in house training. Online training or more accessable training. Product prices are expensive so accounts struggle to retail and since the unilever take over. More pressure to sell but Without the sales bonus's we had previously. Ridiculous amount of spreadsheets and other pointless ways to log the same information in triplicate

Pros

Nice team members on your district, pretty good education for accounts, good products

Cons

Changes in bonus structure and inflated targets make working here terrible. What used to be pretty decent pay for those that worked hard is now not even worth walking out of your front door for. Added responsibites and expectations for less money is ridiculous. If you want real sales people in the field you will have to pay them accordingly. Expect to see a lot of turn over soon. No respect at all for business consultants. Dermalogica has a pretty good habit of asking you what you need to be able to do your job more effectively and then never delivering on it.
