Pros

Very nice building with clean bathrooms

Cons

There's been alot of turnover recently. Departments that have a history of long employee tenure are starting to see a dramatic increase in new hires and It's beacuse people are feeling under appreciated, under payed and under valued. How many HR meetings and exit interviews will it take for Dermalogica to get it? There are many loyal employees that are kept in a box and young new hires are put in higher paying positions with fancy titles. Unfortunately there is favortisim and secrecy amongst management and no room for growth. Getting a promotion is like pulling teeth. Management encourages open and honest 2 way commmunication but is it really when all of your ideas are cast down with the ultimate goal of you being ok with their decision in the 1st place? There is also favortisim amongst departments. 3days in 2days out is only applicable to certain departments. Almost all departments come and go at will. Management doesn't follow that rule either. They make their own schedule. I would love to have the freedom to work from home whenever i wanted to. Its really disheartening that such favortisim is blantly displayed.

Pros

Benefits and accrued time off are overall good.

Cons

There is so much disorganization, lack of communication/follow through and support from all sides of this company. The sales team is not well taken care of and the fallout is eminent. To try to represent a brand day in and day out with a positive attitude and keep up with a laundry list of "expectations" only to be paid less for what you've always done now in 2016, is unacceptable. Overinflated and unfairly calculated sales goals and rollovers create an impossible way to make your numbers and set you up for failure. If you think common core math is a challenge try to figure out Dermalogica's made up methods of doing math. If you want "Consultants" and not order takers, support your sales team with a proper salary, LEGIT business building tools and ongoing support they have been desperately asking for. Quality is better then quantity and long term success will come with this new strategy. There are great employees here that aren't going to wait much longer for real change.
