Pros

Accounts are fabulous. Product Allocation. Decent vacation accrual. Flexible when sick. Company car with gas paid for. Decent expenses reimbursement. Health benefits are good for employees, but pricey when you start adding family members.

Cons

The culture has changed after Ray & Jane stepped back from their hands on approach. It's hard to actually use time off since they want you in the field 100% of the time. Hard to open new business in older saturated markets, but Consultants are held to the same opening requirements as new markets. Held accountable for diversion... feel forced to open accounts we know will divert the product just so we can get an opening.

Over-worked, unappreciated and underpaid!

Pros

Best reason to work at Dermalogica is the product. Every full-time employee receives free monthly product allocation.

Cons

- No room for growth unless you are a part of the "friends and family" circle - No room for personal creativity whatsoever; you are told what to do and and told it was due yesterday - Lack of recognition, unless you do something wrong. - Upper management is highly favored; HR is there to protect them, not to be a resource for other employees - Corporate leadership does not exist; problems stem at the top - Disorganized, Disorganized, Disorganized - Reactive instead of proactive - Plenty of hostility and DIVA attitudes

Pros

*you get free product every month *you get a yearly fitness reimbursement, up to $250 (but the con in this is that HR tries to pick and choose what gets reimbursed, so have all your data back-up in case it happens!) *a lot of great people to work with *end-of-year bonus

Cons

*heavy favoritism towards upper management *difficult to request a vacation day *some managers try to dissuade their employees from calling out sick *incompetent and lazy HR department (except for the Recruiting team) *some managers have crazy mood swings *employees are undervalued *rare for promotions to occur within the company *raises are mediocre *little to no opportunity for advancement or growth in the company *workload can be ridiculous at times
