Pros

a few free products a month

Cons

-Very low pay -Gossip is rampant in the office -lack of DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) initiatives or resources in the office, it is not a priority at all -expect managers and senior leadership to openly gossip about the team and people they manage in the office when other people can hear them -I have witnessed a handful of people crying in boardrooms this year alone with HR, there is zero privacy for private or confidential conversations -CEO boasted how 2023 was the best revenue year in company history, yet most people are being paid under industry average and received terrible bonuses and comical raises -your mental health with drastically deteriorate at this office -bad behaviour is rewarded -everyone is collectively miserable unless you are a select few favoured by the GM -there is no room for growth within the company -when new roles open up within teams, you will not be promoted -expect to be talked down to and treated like a child -low level managers only speak upwards, will not converse with anyone in a role below them and only to people in roles higher than them -whispering and gossip will surround you daily -you will not feel welcomed in this environment -free snacks in the office = a few bags of chips or a moldy apple, that never get restocked -you can visibly see the animosity between members of different teams, it was even made evident in a recorded town hall that made everyone extremely uncomfortable -cliques among management -pay attention how management members interact with non management and external vendors, big red flag -former employees will be openly talked about negatively and made fun of, making you wonder what they say about you behind closed doors if they are this open to how much they distain people who were regarded well while on the team

Stay far far away...

Pros

Excellent Products that actually work. Talented hardworking people and great teams.

Cons

As long as the current General Manager and Current HR Director are in this company, stay far far away. Toxic & Poorly Managed. Employees are constantly overworked, pay is far below industry average and the resulting employee turnover only means people having to do multiple jobs with no end in sight. You could end up in a department with a great Director, but as long as the GM continues to micromanage every department and every job, good talented people will continue to leave and leave bad reviews as every complaint falls on deaf ears. The customer service department has 2 people for their 1000+ B2B Accounts and D2C consumers and no matter what is said, the GM refuses to give them more headcount. 2023 was their biggest year yet? Yet every department has their budgets cut and see no increase in headcount, so where is this money going? The Sales team is constantly under pressure to bring in more and more sales with less and less support. They are constantly targeted for not doing enough or having a "bad year" for only bringing 9% growth during a worldwide recession? Delusional. Getting your commission after hitting your numbers is like pulling teeth as the GM insists on micromanaging this process as well. There is no trust, no work/life balance, no appreciation for all the hardwork, but... hey, you have free snacks in the kitchen! Both the HR Director and GM are incredibly out of touch with reality and blame other leadership for the discontent among the employees. Terrible employee engagement scores result in the GM wanting to throw extravagant parties instead of just paying people for the job they were hired to do, trusting them to do it and hiring the appropriate number of people.
