Over worked- expectation of checking in and out over 100 patients, creating a line with unhappy patients who take it out on you. Other receptionists leave their stack of work for someone else to carry out.
Management will take a hostile patients concerns over your own even if they were wrong, doctors over pack their schedule having almost no time for each patient just to get in as much money, I mean as many appointments as they can. Biggest con is management. They've lost so many good and hard working people over the misjudgement of a power hungry manager. Pay raises are something of a foreign language here- they don't give you one over years, and when you ask for one it's a huge hassle. Even if you've been on time daily and finish your work, it won't be worth a raise to them.
