Cons

Micromanagement is excessive and limits autonomy. • Leadership encourages open communication but often uses feedback against employees • Workload has doubled without appropriate support. • Over half of the staff has left due to poor working conditions, with no real retention efforts in place. • Unrealistic expectations — required to maintain over 3 hours of talk time while reaching 50+ members. • Policies are frequently contradicted, leading to confusion and inconsistency. • Mental health and employee well-being are not genuinely prioritized. • Overall leadership and direction are poor, creating a stressful and unsupportive environment. - Devoted used to have an above 4-star rating — this isn’t coming from disgruntled employees. • There’s been a significant change in leadership and structure that’s directly compromising employee mental health. • Instead of addressing the real issues, management is flooding review sites for damage control rather than replacing problematic department heads. • Many higher-level roles are now open for a reason — high turnover and burnout are widespread. Nurses, be cautious — this is not a job for the weak, and mental health support is virtually nonexistent. Workload & Coverage Issues • Employees are expected to manage their own full workload and cover for others when staff are off, creating an unmanageable level of work. • During holidays, large numbers of nurses take time off, leaving remaining staff overwhelmed with an excessive caseload. • The lack of planning and support during these periods causes extreme stress and further contributes to burnout.
