Pros

the benefits and thorough training

Cons

-Amy the supervisor was always sarcastic and left early on many occasions -Amy the supervisor was not professional; always posting her newest tattoo in the slack group chat -heavy micromanaging -choose to give pto to who they want -back to back calls with no breaks/stressful -no room for advancement -not open to feedback/critique -threatened to fire me for being on approved leave -only care about the money not the employees -mistakes can't happen; you'll be seen as incompetent -if your calls are rated below 85%, they'll put you on a success plan for 1 month

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and experience with us as a Member Service Guide. We're glad you've appreciated our benefits and training programs, yet we're sorry to learn about your negative experiences. Regarding our PTO policy, we strive for a balanced approach to ensure low wait times, compliant speed-to-answer, and manageable workloads for our team. While we aim to approve time-off equitably, busy periods might pose challenges when PTO can be more difficult to approve. These times are communicated in advance for better planning. It’s unfortunate to learn that you did not have a positive experience with this process. Member Service Guide as a department is proud to be a collaborative and welcoming environment. With various slack channels, our goal is to provide a virtual space so that employees who wish to connect on their personal lives can do so. We regret that your experience didn't meet this expectation. Our department's objectives align closely with our mission, which calls for maintaining high standards due to federal regulations. We recognize this can be demanding and offer stress reduction programs, including live and recorded classes, Lyra Benefit, and the Calm App. Feedback shows 97% of participants found these helpful. We also aim to provide growth opportunities through our tiering system, supporting both professional and financial advancement. Ensuring both our members and team feel valued is our core mission. We know that each experience is different and we welcome the opportunity to hear more from you about your perspective so we can learn. If you’d like to continue the conversation, please reach out to Michelle Mulcahy at mmulcahy@devoted.com. Thank you again, People Team at Devoted Health

its a call center and you are a robot. They stalk every SECOND of your day in various ways. The communication and rapid changes are terrible and don't make sense most of the time.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed our benefits and 401k offerings. We’re sorry to hear that you are not enjoying the day to day of the Member Outreach role. We hold our Member Outreach Specialists to high standards as a group when it comes to metrics. This not only allows us to offer superior service to our members but also ensures that we are able to get Members in touch with the clinical care they may need, thus following through on our mission. We recognize that the rapid growth of Devoted Medical programs results in quick changes and adjustments to our metrics and processes at times. To help buffer this, we provide support to our team members through frequent 1:1s with Supervisors, shadowing with tenured Seniors, individual and group coaching sessions, and continuous education and trainings. While it’s our mission to make sure that our members are cared for and treated like family, we aim to make sure we’re reflecting the same or better care and attention to our internal team as well. We know that each experience is different and we welcome the opportunity to hear more from you so we can continue to provide a great place to work and thrive. If you’d like to continue the conversation, please reach out to Nicole Moran, Director of Member Outreach Services (nicole.moran@devoted.com).
