Pros

They pay for your wifi

Cons

Management is horrible, and there’s nothing transparent about expectations because they change constantly, so you never know where you stand. Everything is about metrics, not people, and employees are punished instead of supported. They hand out “final warnings” for things as ridiculous as using the full three minutes of after-call wrap-up time and then threaten to fire you for “avoiding calls,” even when there are ten-minute gaps with no calls coming in. To make it worse, they just changed the policy so now wrap-up is one minute. and they say you can use the full minute every time because an AI system will handle the documentation. So basically, I got punished and written up for something that they’ve now baked into the process. A couple of months ago they did a mass firing, and there’s no safe space to ask questions because if you do, you’re labeled as insubordinate. The culture is toxic, fear-based, and designed to break you down. The only people who last here are the meek and mild who don’t speak up. This company is a revolving door where management rules by fear, constantly shifting policies to suit themselves while employees are left disposable and burned out. News flash. You’re just another headset to them.

Pros

Your coworkers are fabulous, intelligent people. Remote work.

Cons

Unfortunately, this company has been run into the ground by ineffective middle management and overly complicated workflows that generate more bureaucracy than actual results. The executive team and entry-level employees are strong, but the middle management tier (largely made up of early hires) often lacks formal qualifications and demonstrates poor grammar and emotional maturity. Leadership direction is like a fifth grader’s group chat run through AI for “professional tone”. More concerning than the lack of eduction is management inability to create meaningful, lean solutions to nagging problems. This affects the health and wellbeing of members far more than anyone is willing to admit. I would recommend people stay far away from this company as an employee and as a Medicare beneficiary.

Pros

Strong mission and solid benefits Passionate culture with lots of energy Talented individual contributors who genuinely care about members Great benefits and fast-paced environment

Cons

Leadership lacks deep industry knowledge, leading to unrealistic sales goals and unnecessary micromanagement. Culture leans heavily on enthusiasm and internal hype ("rah rah") instead of providing actionable broker support Leadership prioritizes "team fit and internal clicks" over broker impact — often at the expense of those doing the real work to drive revenue. Leadership behavior in meetings is unprofessional — frequent phone distractions and lack of active listening. Leadership lacked clear direction, memory and accountability of day to day activities.

Hi there - thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your time with Devoted Health left you feeling frustrated. Your feedback underscores the importance of strong, experienced leadership, transparent communication, and frontline support, areas we take seriously as we continue to grow. While we’re proud of our mission-driven culture and the passion our team brings to serving members, we also recognize that energy alone isn’t enough. Constructive field feedback, especially from those directly supporting brokers and partners, is invaluable. We’re working to improve our leadership development programs, re-evaluate support structures for our broker teams, and reinforce a culture of accountability and active listening across all levels of the organization. We appreciate your contributions during your time here, and we’re committed to learning from feedback like yours to become better leaders, teammates, and partners to our brokers. Wishing you continued success in your journey. Best, Jimmy Feliciano VP of Sales @ Devoted Health
