Pros

The company is very receptive to your ideas and feedback as an employee. I have been pleasantly surprised to find a company such a personal approach to healthcare. The work environment is casual, the office space is modern and the coworkers are unpretentious. The company welcomes diversity and personality expressions. The salary and benefits are REALLY good.

Cons

The company is new, growing and there are constant changes. As an employee, you have to be willing to do sometimes more than what your job description says. With that being said, there is tremendous opportunity to learn and also to provide ideas/feedback on how to better internal processes. Get ready to learn and grow with us!

Great mission, great leadership, great culture

Pros

The mission is more than just delivering Medicare Advantage plans but around changing healthcare and that feeling is pervasive everywhere - in team meetings, executive communications, decisions, and our Slack channel. The leadership is also very transparent and aligned and clear on the goals for the company, which in turn allows all the teams needed to operate autonomously within those goals but also collaborate with alignment when needed. Culture around work/life balance, working parents, diversity across race gender age etc is also terrific.

Cons

Not many I can think of. The company is growing super fast so it’s hard to keep up with the new employees and still feel like a small company. Most managers care about professional development but realistically the growth path at the mid- to senior-levels are undefined/limited given the nature of the work.
