Pros

The only good thing maybe is the work life balance.

Cons

It became bad. When I started I loved this place as they are growing the mess is getting notice, there is no help everyone is overworked plus add Micromanagement to all that.

Great company, EXCEPT for Senior Leadership

Anonymous employee

Pros

The PTO we get is decent. For most departments, the company culture is good (except for the culture in the grievance and appeals department)

Cons

Ppl are set up to fail with impossible metrics. We have 15 days to handle cases, even though we are supposed to have 30 days. And we got to close 8 a day, which noone can do. The Supervisor was fired for no reason and now no one trusts anyone or talks and everyone is looking for a new job.The Senior Manager is sarcastic and unavailable unless it suits them, hired friends and allowed these friends to be rude to everyone,It has made it feel like a hostile work environment and isn't right based on how the company says the culture should be. They made us do on call schedule for appeals on weekends so say good bye to work life balance. Grievance and appeals department morale is EXTREMELY low, and everyone scared of losing their jobs.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback and express your feelings about your experience thus far. We are grateful to hear you are excited by our PTO offerings, but saddened to hear about your overall experience thus far in Appeals and Grievances. Our mission at Devoted Health is to make sure all members that enroll with us are treated like family. Given Appeals & Grievances (A&G) provides services around time-sensitive and high-impact member requests, metrics are put in place to make sure we’re providing the best service possible to follow through on our mission. We do recognize where this could cause extra stress on this type of role and team, and we have focused on adding tooling and resources to help our employees while also maintaining our promise to the mission. This is something we’re continuing to monitor and work on, so we appreciate your feedback here. We regret to hear that your experience within your team seems to have been more stressful than invigorating or motivating. It’s a priority for us that all employees feel heard, respected and trusted. We also recognize that each person has their own experience and perspective. We welcome the opportunity to hear more about your perspective so we can learn from this and help. If you’d like to chat further, please reach out to people@devoted.com. Thanks again, Devoted Health People Team
