Pros

Decent work-life balance. Okay starter job for an average student.

Cons

Not client-focused or employee-focused. Management only cares about the bottom line. Mediocrity valued. Not innovative or progressive. Boring, monotonous work. No career growth. Benefits are below average for metro region.

Pros

Can't think of any. . . . . . . . . . None. . . . . . .

Cons

The experienced management left, so they promoted inexperienced staff, these new management has no people managing skills, no HR skills, no project management skills, engineering skill barely ok but they think they are God. They lie about how much backlog they have. They are extremely berating and cliquey, like a bunch of high school mean girls and jocks. Female boss once after having a couple glasses of wine at happy hour (during work hour, 4pm ish) said she and her husband are really good at making babies, don't know why she said that. They will only like you if you don't know anything so they can feel superior, or if you are a brown noser. The turn over rate is very high. They do not have enough work to go around so people are hoarding work, leaving you with no work to do, and no where to bill you time, then they fire you. If you speak up, you get fired. If you ask for work, you get fired. If you point out errors in reports, you get fired. If they want to fire you, they will start the "documentation" process (I was told by upper management that's how it's done). To sum it up, don't work here, run as far as you can. Run for your life.

Pros

Money was decent, but not worth the stress and bad environment.

Cons

Backstabbing/arrogant/rude staff, micro managing, lack of training, unrealistic demands / utilization goals, hostile work environment,...... (I was fired based on lies about me talking too much, coming in late, etc. Company will say anything to fire you if they run out of work and are unwilling to provide training on other tasks. I was told told to "shape up or ship out" based on said lies and for not completing one task quickly enough (although I worked until midnight several nights on this tedious task). I knew how to do the task, it was simply a long job. A certain person told the manager and I was put on 30 day notice. Although I performed pretty well with the work given during this period, I was told I would be fired unless I traveled to Houston to live for 6 months (which I could not do for personal reasons). So glad to be away from this awful company!
