CEO will also make frequent speeches about how well the company is doing, but bonuses are evidently for senior management only.

Too much expectation of overtime, lots micro-managment. Unreasonable expectations and too many managers all telling you to hurry up. It can be a little overly punitive and there really isn't much there to make it worthwhile given that they aren't willing to invest in their employees or reward them in a meaningful way.
