      Pros

      I've met some great people who I've learned a lot from. Some in management (FACTS, new business) seem to care about employees and try to keep things positive.

      Cons

      My job is safe but it's discouraging to see other people fear for their jobs and be unhappy. It makes you wonder who's next. Management (MIS, CEO) can be overheard plotting against others and it creates an environement of distrust. If you are in the FACTS division you won't really be valued here. Dexis is great so long as you are an Associate or in BD.

      I’m going through reviews from over a year ago to see if we indeed followed the suggestions made. Did we? I know so much has changed with the FAC department that an updated review would be helpful. Thanks in advance for providing any updated feedback.

      Poor Business Practices

      The accounting at Dexis is really screwed up. The CFO and his deputy hire only those who have no experience, and no education. So many violations, that's why they are not interested in hiring experienced accountants, they like to sweep the dirt under the rug.. They hire their friends and incompetent personnel who will not speak up about the criminal activities in their department.

      Pros

      The benefits ok at best. The only plus side is that they pay a small portion of your gym membership and the company pays for 100% of the HMO for employees only.

      Cons

      401K plan needs work. The company match is 3.5% only if you contribute 6% and there is a 2 year vesting period that they don't tell you about. It's hard for most employees to get the match because of the low wages offered most employee have a hard time contributing 6%.

      Dexis reviews salaries and compensation against the market regularly. While we recognize that there is always room for improvement, we do try to ensure we are staying competitive in the market as best as we can. Approximately half of all employers do not offer a 401K match, the median 401K match is 3% for employers who do match, and approximately three-fourths have vesting schedules closer to 5 years. We want staff to take investing in their future retirement seriously which is why we offer automatic enrollment meetings and free one on one sessions with a financial adviser . As Dexis continues to grow and mature our hope is to be able to provide even richer benefits and are committed to keeping our total compensation competitive with the market.
