Amazing Opportunity/Welcoming Environment
Pros
I enjoy working in a caring & compassionate environment where I have the ability to work with individuals, small businesses, and non-profits directly within my local community. Knowing that I get to be a stepping stone in their success, makes everything we do worth it on a daily basis. Plus, it is just getting to know our people within the community and to be able to learn from them along the way! I also find it encouraging that the company is open to growth & development. Diamond will work to help you achieve where you would like to be whether it means education, training, or even shadowing a certain department to see if that job function is really where you want to be. There are many perks they provide over the year as well. But for me, it comes down to our strong & supportive team and leadership, being able to work & support my local community, and having the ability to continue my personal growth in the financial services industry.
Cons
Because my role is geared to business development & working with small business, I do see the need to have more of the functionalities of our bigger, full-service financial competitors. But I also find that pretty impressive too, because Diamond acknowledges the need for additional services that we do not necessarily have today, and we are diligently working towards growing that area with the right products & services for our business members.
