I was there for 7 months, and they had flexible hours for college students. Certain staff members were good at defending students from most unfriendly customers

Pros

The atmosphere at Dierbergs was always pleasant and professional. Dierbergs strives for excellent customer service, encouraging engaging with customers and going those extra steps to ensure the customers have had all their needs met so they are more likely to return for their grocery needs. Management was always willing to accommodate employee needs as well, such as scheduling, workload, even hypoglycemia needs. It was always a positive work environment with plenty of room for advancement if that is what one chose.

I have nothing negative to say about the company, truly.
