Pros

The employees make the difference in this company.

Cons

Management is narrow minded with a one-size fits all mentality. No regard for disruptions caused to major customers. They acquired Symantec and management did not bother to sit down and gather information on how their policies or practices would impact customers, only weeks after acquisition employees received access to the new system simply because DigiCert could not handle to amount of contacts and the volume of orders. No training. Barely any communication. Changes that impact customers are made without communication to customers.

DigiCert is a peculiar culture

Pros

Upbeat environment, welcoming peers, many are more on the happy-go-lucky young side of their careers, and management who are all 100% customer obsessed and/or excited about public trust. Nice headquarters with 2 stories of beautiful mountain views and a compliment of insulin boosting drinks and candy. No need to leave the office for lunch but HQ is close to other restaurants and shopping. As of 2025, Lehi local employees are expected to be in-office 2 days/week. Many show up at 10am and leave by 3pm so it doesn't seem to be an 8 hr/day in-office requirment.

Cons

Sadly there is palpable professional bias & immature departmental leadership across the whole org. One might quickly clock that management leans toward mentoring and promoting fellow (or former) sect members. Outsourcing US jobs to other continents, assuming M&A headcount and luring hires from competitors like Ping is DigiCert's attempt to curate diversity.

Dear former DigiCert employee, Thank you for your candid review and for your time and contributions during your tenure with DigiCert. We’re glad to hear that aspects of your experience - including the environment at our Lehi headquarters, your peers, and our focus on customer trust - were positive. We also recognize and take seriously the concerns you raised regarding leadership consistency, internal promotions, and equity in advancement. While not every perspective reflects the full reality of our workplace, feedback like yours is essential in helping us identify gaps between intention and impact. At DigiCert, our goal is to build a culture rooted in our CARE values including Exceptional Collaboration and Customer Obsession, where professionalism, inclusion, and merit-based recognition are not just ideals, but daily experiences. While no organization is perfect, we are committed to listening and improving. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you success in your next chapter. Regards, DigiCert People Team
